Benefit from guaranteed credit transfer and other advantages when transferring within the Massachusetts public higher education system.
Credits from non-traditional education sources are accepted if approved by the appropriate academic department's faculty.
Earned credits from AP and IB examinations are considered for transfer.
Generally, grades of C- (1.67 on a 4.0 scale) or better will be considered for transfer (except where indicated in specific course prerequisites).
Credits earned at other institutions will be accepted in accordance with the college's established course credit equivalencies. If the transferring institution uses a different credit system, our Registrar will convert the credits accordingly.

However, for certain courses requiring current knowledge, a time limit may apply and will be indicated in the college catalog. If the time limit is exceeded, credit may still be granted under the following circumstances:
To earn a degree from 4Cs, a minimum of 24 credits must be completed at Cape Cod Community College.
